OPMRESIDENTIAL

A stained glass laylight.

Sketch Nº 002, viewed in West Yorkshire.

Stand in the hall and look up. It’s a laylight, a glazed ceiling over the stairs, with leaded panels all the way round and a coat of arms in the middle.

Whoever built the house wanted you to notice it. More than a century on it’s all still there.

Every building I view gets drawn, whether we end up buying it or not. I give the area and never the address.
